It marked the return of guitarist Jörg Fischer and the album contains some of their classic songs, such as Metal Heart", "Midnight Mover" and "Living for Tonite". It's a work of pure metal greatness and it got everything you expect from the band. To crack the American market they added catchier choruses and melodies to the music, but they didn't hold back on any of their powerful metal music. The album is overwhelmingly well-produced and performed, and containing brilliant strokes of songwriting genius along with catchy, memorable themes.

After his smash 1989 hit album Trash, Cooper continues his success with this follow-up album, which features guest performances from Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both of Mötley Crüe).<br/><br/>Hey Stoopid was the last music album to feature bassist Hugh McDonald before he joined Bon Jovi as their bassist in 1995.<br/><br/>The song "Feed My Frankenstein" features famed guitar duo Steve Vai and Joe Satriani playing together, accompanied by Nikki Sixx on Bass. In 2014, "Dangerous Tonight" was featured in the video game Watch Dogs.<br/><br/>Also featuring the hit-singles "Hey Stoopid" and "Love's a Loaded Gun".

It would be their highest charting record and with four million copies sold, it was certified Quadruple Platinum. "Dust In The Wind" became the hit single off of the album.

This was their last release featuring all members of the new line-up (Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Trevor Rabin, Alan White and Tony Kaye) and the ex-Yes members group (Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Steve Howe), hence the name Union. Incredibly enough during the process of recording the album, all eight members do not play together at once.<br/><br/>The album reached #7 in the UK Album charts and #15 in the US Album charts spawning three singles"Lift Me Up", "Saving My Heart" and "I Would Have Waited Forever".<br/><br/>In 1992 the eight man band supported the release with a world tour after which Bruford, Wakeman and Howe left the band for good.
